I strongly believe we need to take some time every day to pamper ourselves. To show our body, mind or soul that we care. This doesn't mean I always do it (I'm human after all) but after waking up with not-so-pleasant neck pain today, I decided my body was screaming at me- take a moment lady!
There are a ton of different ways to do this, from the elaborate (salon appointment, spa, massages- omg do I LOVE massages!) to the completely free (bubble bath, meditation, taking a long walk, aromatherapy, taking a nap). You can make a delicious meal, or have that piece of dessert and enjoy every single bite.
I challenge you to find a way to pamper yourself today.
You can even pamper yourself at work- just head out of the office for a short walk. You can look for something new or beautiful about the area you work in (I'm always surprised by what I can find- a perfect flower, charming people walking by, the interesting architecture of the area).
You should always be able to find some time for yourself (how many times have we all said "I'd love some pampering but I don't have time") That's essentially saying everyone and everything else is more important than you. It's not cool, and it won't work for you in the long run- trust me on this one.
It won't take long to feel rejuvenated and your body will thank you.
